You know what gets me really hot? A man who knows what he wants and will go to any length to get it.
After a police officer pulled William over yesterday morning, all he did was apologize and say he was stressed out by the traffic around the Brooklyn Bridge. I asked him why he couldn't be more like Rick Perry, but for some reason that just made him mad. Of course, we got into it and had yet another fight that came down to sex.
This is what the selfishness of others has made us resort to so many times, and I'm tired of it. I understand that the US is a democracy, but there aren't even any elections right now and people were all over the street getting mad at Wall Street. What a useless way to spend your Saturday. If you don't have any money, I don't think getting mad at people with money is going to help you much.
We have been in New York this weekend because William's sister, who was divorced from her husband last year, sure enough has come out as gay since (I nailed it!), and was having an engagement party for her upcoming gay marriage. I promised William not only that I wouldn't blog, but also that I woudn't speak disparagingly about his sister's choices, but this is the way I've had to spend my weekend.
If this is how it feels to be protesting Wall Street, then I can sympathize.
Futility at its finest.
